CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Full refund if cancellation is within 48 hours of booking

For a full refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made within 48 hours of booking and at least 3 days prior check in. Credit card fees are non-refundable.

For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 30 full days prior to listing’s check in time, otherwise no refund.

If the guest cancels less than 30 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.

HOUSE RULES

Smoking

This is a No Smoking property- even on the patio outside. If you do smoke you will have to go out and take a walk somewhere. If there is any smell from cigarettes or any butts or ashes found on the property, you will automatically be fined a $250 cleaning fee.

Drugs/Guns

No drug use or guns are allowed on the property.

Noise

Please keep noise to a reasonable level, especially during the week.  If there is a complaint and I am fined, I will have to pass that fee along to you.

Parties

Sorry, No parties with outside visitors are allowed at the house and no overnight guests not registered with the group are allowed. If you are celebrating something together, please clean up as you would in your own home. If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.

Cleanliness

While we do a thorough professional cleaning between each guest stay, we kindly ask that you keep the house clean and orderly as you would at home. Do not leave food and trash around, clean dishes and kitchenware used etc. It helps our cleaning crew get through the cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests. Dishwasher pods are under the sink.

Bluff Safety

Absolutely no walking on the bluff in front of the fenced deck and house.  The lake erosion has caused a dangerous situation for this house.  Do not walk there.

Damages

Accidents happen, but please contact me immediately when they do. Chances are I can arrange to fix or replace something as effortlessly as possible. If it’s minor, I won’t charge. If it’s a larger issue, I would like to agree to a reimbursement before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you.

Pets

No pets are allowed at the property unless previous arrangements have been made and the pet fee paid.
